Mark has over 19 years of extensive sales and portfolio management experience in the deregulated energy markets nationwide which complements his credentials as a Certified Energy Manager, and Certified Energy Procurement Professional.
As a Senior Director of Business Development with Great Eastern Energy Mark is responsible for developing new clients and maintaining existing client relationships primarily in the Large Commercial and Industrial segments. Prior to joining Great Eastern Energy, Mark was a Director of Sales for Calpine Energy Solutions. Mark prides himself on using a diagnostic approach in order to assist the client in creating a strategic energy sales plan. This is accomplished by utilizing executive level information and insight from the client to continuously assess the potential for value creation. Once a client is acquired, Mark maintains all aspects of the on-going relationship in addition to providing pre and post-sales support for his client base. Mark holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Seton Hall University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Rutgers School of Business at Rutgers University. Mark is also a former Army Officer assigned to the 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne).
