On Sunday, October 16th 2011, Great Eastern Energy employees—along with friends, family, and canine companions—laced up their sneakers for a very worthy cause: participating in the Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk in Prospect Park.
With over 27,000 supporters all dressed in pink, the event was an enormous success. All funds raised by Great Eastern employees will be generously matched by the company; these funds will go directly to cancer patients and survivors living in our Brooklyn communities.
