Lunch and Learn

As part of the Workplace Partnership for Life, Great Eastern Energy hosts a “Lunch and Learn” with New York Organ Donor Network

On July 13th 2011, Great Eastern Energy employees were invited to “lunch” where they “learned” about organ donation. Employees were educated on the many different aspects of organ donation. There was a very informative question and answer session with Karen Cummings, Public and Professional Education Specialist from the New York Organ Donor Network. Guest speakers included Kristin Molini, multiple organ recipient, and Anthony Kilburn, kidney recipient. For more on Kristin’s story, please visit the New York Organ Donor Network website. Directly following the lunch and learn, employees were given the opportunity to sign up to be organ donors.
